Rocky Dan Elsom

Rocky Dan Elsom was born in Melbourne on 14 February 1983 and educated at St Joseph's Nudgee College in Brisbane. After playing for the Bulldogs in rugby league he switched to rugby union with the Randwick club and at state level for Waratahs. He also played in Ireland for Leinster when they won the European Cup in 2009 and then returned to Australia to play for the Brumbies. Between 2005 and August 2011 Rocky Elsom gained 67 caps in the back row for Australia and was captain from 2007 to 2011; he also scored 13 test tries.
