Andrew Michael Ellis

Andrew Michael Ellis was born in Christchurch on 21 February 1984 and educated at Burnside High School and Canterbury University. He played at scrum-half for the Crusaders and first played for New Zealand in 2006. By the time he was selected for the Rugby World Cup squad in September 2011 he had scored three tries in 21 tests for the All Blacks. He was a replacement for the Barbarians in their victory over South Africa in 2010.
