Bismarck Wilhelm du Plessis

Bismarck Wilhelm du Plessis was born in Bethlehem, South Afica, on 22 May 1984 and educated at Grey College and the University of the Free State. He played at hooker for the Cheetahs and the Sharks. He made his debut for South Africa in 2007 and was a replacement in the Rugby World Cup final victory against England. In the same year he also played for South Africa against the Barbarians at Twickenham. By the start of the 2011 Rugby World Cup he had scored five tries in 38 tests for South Africa.
