Jean de Villiers

Jean de Villiers was born in Paarl on 24 February 1981 and educated at Paarl Gymnasium Schooland Stellenbosch University. He played at centre for Western Province and the Stormers and in 2009/10 had a season in Ireland playing for Munster. He first played for South Africa in 2002 and by August 2011 had scored 19 tries in 69 tests. He captained the Barbarians against Fiji at Twickenham in November 2013, scoring two tries.
