Matthew James Sutherland Dawson

Matthew James Sutherland Dawson was born in Birkenhead on 31 December 1972 and educated at Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe. He played 246 games for Northampton in 13 seasons before joining Wasps in 2004. He played at scrum-half in 77 internationals for England between 1995 and 2006, scored 101 points, including 16 tries, and captained the side nine times. On three British Isles' tours to South Africa (1997), Australia (2001) and New Zealand (2005) he played in 19 matches, including seven tests.
