Leonard John Cunningham

Leonard John Cunningham was born in Port Talbot on 3 January 1932 and after national service in the RAF he was a steelworker in the town and later a licensee. He played for the Aberavon club where he was captain for two sessons from 1958 to 1960. He later served on the club committee. Playing at prop he gained 14 caps for Wales between 1960 and 1964, including the tour to South Africa in 1964. Earlier that year he played for the Barbarians against New Zealand at Cardiff Arms Park. Len Cunningham died on 20 July 1998, aged 66.
