Michael Gerard Culliton

Michael Gerard Culliton was born in Clonaslee on 15 June 1936 and educated at Mount St Joseph's School before becoming a farmer. A member of the Wanderers club in Dublin, he played 19 times for Ireland (eleven at lock and eight in the back row) between 1959 and 1964. Gerry Culliton's 10 appearances for the Barbarians included the fixtures against South Africa in 1961 and New Zealand three years later. He died on 8 September 2012 aged 76.
