Richard Cockerill
Richard Cockerill was born in Rugby, Warwickshire,on 16 December 1970 and educated at the local Harris School. He played 229 games at hooker for Leicester, was a member of the side that won the European Cup in 2001 and 2002, and later became forwards' coach and in 2009 director of rugby at the club. He also played for Montferrand. He scored three tries in 27 internationals for England between 1997 and 1999 and in 1994 toured Zimbabwe with the Barbarians.
