Robin William Taylor Chisholm
Robin Wilson Taylor Chisholm was born in Melrose on 16 October 1929 at educated at St Boswells School. He worked as an auctioneer. A member of the Melrose club, he gained 11 caps at full-back for Scotland between 1955 and 1960. His ten games for the Barbarians included the match against Australia at Cardiff Arms Park in 1958 and the tour to South Africa later that year. In 1959 he captained the Barbarians against East Midlands. His brother was another Scotland international and Barbarian, David. Robin Chisholm died on 2 November 1991, aged 62.
