David Hardie Chisholm

David Hardie Chisholm, born 23 January 1937, played at fly-half for Melrose and Scotland alongside his half-back partner, Alex Hastie [qv]. His brother, Robin, also played for the Barbarians, including the victory over Australia in 1958. David's three games in Barbarian colours included victories over Cardiff and Llanelly. He dropped a goal in the latter, as he did four times for Scptland in the course of his 14 internationals. He served on the Barbarian committee in 1983-84. David Chisholm died at the age of 61 on 27 July 1998.
