Colin Lloyd Charvis

Colin Lloyd Charvis was born in Sutton Coldfield on 27 December 1972 and educated at Queen Mary Grammar School and the Polytechnic of Central London. He played in the back-row for London Welsh, Swansea, Tarbes, Newcastle Falcons and Newport Gwent Dragons. He later became a player-coach with the Dragons. His 94 caps and 22 tries for Wales between 1996 and 2007 set set new records for a forward in appearances and try-scoring. He played in the Rugby World Cup tournaments of 1999 and 2003 and was captain in the latter. He led Wales in 22 tests. In 2001 he toured Australia with the Britich Isles and scored three tries in six appearances, including two tests.Colin Charvis played for Wales four times against the Barbarians between 2001 and 2004,leading the team twice in 2002 and 2004.
