Thomas Castaignede
Thomas Castaignede was born in Mont-de-Marsan on 21 January 1975. He played at full-back, centre and fly-half for Toulouse, Castres and, from 2000 to 2007 for Saracens, for whom he scored 338 points in 78 Premiership games. In 54 tests for France between 1995 and 2007 he scored 252 points, including 18 tries. His prolific scoring extended to the Barbarians when he scored a hat-trick of tries against Leicester at Twickenham in 1999. He worked in broadcasting and banking.
