Seamus Oliver Campbell

Seamus Oliver Campbell was born in Dublin on 3 March 1954 and educated at Belvedere College and the Dublin College of Commerce. He became a company director in the textiles industry and played at fly-half for Old Belvedere and Leinster. Between 1976 and 1984 he played in 22 internationals for Ireland and set a new national scoring record of 217 points. In 1980 he toured South Africa with the British Isles and scored 60 points in seven appearances, including three tests. On his second Lions' tour, to New Zealand in 1983, Ollie Campbell was again top scorer with 124 points in 11 matches, including the four tests.
