Gary van Ginkel Botha

Gary van Ginkel Botha was born in Pretoria on 12 October 1981 and was educated at Waterkloof High School and the Pretoria Technical Institute of Rugby. He played at hooker for the Blue Bulls and the Sharks and between 2007 and 2009 for Harlequins in England. He also played rugby league in South Africa for two years as a junior. His 14 games for the Springboks between 2005 and 2007 included 12 tests. In 2004 he was a replacement for the Barbarians against New Zealand at Twickenham.
