Brian Boobbyer

Brian Boobbyer was born in Ealing on 25 February 1928. He played at centre for Rosslyn Park before gaining three Blues at Oxford, 1949-51. He also won cricket Blues and scored two first-class centuries. The first of his five games for the Barbarians was against Leicester in 1949 before he gained nine caps for England. His playing career was cut short when he dedicated his life to the Moral Re-armament movement. He died on 17 January 2011, aged 82.
