Samuel Thomas Beaumont was born in Preston on 11 October 1985. Like his father Bill [q.v.] he played for Fylde and Lancashire and became a Barbarian in the Mobbs Memorial Match of 2010. At 6'2" and over 16 stones he was ideally suited to the number 8 position.
