Steffon Elvis Armitage

Back row forward, capped five times by England. Born 20.9.85 in San Fernando, Trinidad. The 2014 ERC European Player of the Year, he won five England caps in 2009 and 2010 before signing for Toulon from London Irish. He helped the French club to win the Heineken Cup in three consecutive seasons from 2013 onwards and switched to Pau this season. The younger brother of England full back Delon, he has predatory skills, power and pace and joined London Irish in July 2006 after two years with the Saracens Academy. When his family moved to France, he joined Nice before returning to Devon and Ivybridge Community College and playing briefly for Brixham.
