Barbarian FC and Macron, technical partner of the iconic invitational rugby club, have unveiled the new 2025/26 Game Set and Training Jersey that the “BaaBaas” will wear for their upcoming international fixtures. Fans won’t have to wait long for the official debut, with the Barbarians set to take the field tomorrow, 1 November, at London’s GTech Community Stadium against the All Blacks XV. A fascinating clash that closes a landmark year – 2025 marks the 135th anniversary of Barbarian Football Club, a true rugby institution founded in 1890.

The new Game Set remains faithful to the club’s traditional and iconic black-and-white horizontal stripes, though this time the black bands feature a subtle tone-on-tone geometric graphic. The same pattern, derived from the multiplication and intersection of curves and angles that form the Macron Hero – the Italian brand’s logo – also appears in alternating black-and-white on the crew neck and sleeve cuffs. On the outer back neck, next to the club’s logo, four key words are printed in black on a white background: FLAIR – COURAGE – SPIRIT – PASSION – values that have always defined the Barbarians. Inside the backneck, a customised black label reflects the shirt’s graphic and features the Barbarian FC logo, the Macron logo and the phrase ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that each garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. On the chest, the Macron Hero is embroidered on the right, and the club crest on the left. The kit is completed by black shorts, while – as tradition dictates – players will wear socks of their own choice, representing either their current club, their formative team or their national side.

A shirt that embodies the true spirit of rugby – and the commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment. As with all Macron partner clubs, the kit is made entirely from Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester material derived from post-consumer recycled plastic. The primary fabric used is Eco Armevo, with inserts in Eco Bodytex and Eco Strong Mesh, ensuring top-level performance and durability, combined with lightness and excellent breathability. Alongside the Game Set, the new Training Jersey has also been unveiled. Predominantly black, it features an exclusive graphic composed of fine lines, dots and waves in turquoise and coral. These colours also appear in the neck and sleeve details, while the Macron Hero, in coral, is sublimated on the chest next to the Barbarians crest.
