Barbarian F.C is shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic passing of South African international Cornal Hendricks.

The 37-year old passed away earlier this week due to a heart attack.

Hendricks, who made 12 appearances for the Springboks, played for the Barbarians in 2019 against Wales in Cardiff.

We were honoured to call Cornal a Barbarian and proud that he was a member of our club.  It was our pleasure to spend time with Cornal in Cardiff and we would like to express our deepest condolences to all Cornal’s friends and family and this very sad time.

Hendricks career spanned 233 first-class matches across 17 years, featuring also for SA ‘A’ and Blitzboks on a number of occasions.
