The fly half is the first man named in Alan Jones’s squad, who take on the Wallabies at Allianz Stadium on October 28.
Cooper won the last of his 70 caps against Italy this summer and appeared against the Barbarians in the 11-try classic at Twickenham in 2014 that the Wallabies won 40-36.
And he promised to maximise the excitement in similar style when he makes his debut for the famous invitation club.

“I’m going to be up there doing my best to attack from everywhere and really making it entertaining for the the fans,” Cooper told Head Coach Jones on his 2GB Radio show.
“There’s a lot of emphasis these days being put on defence and that in turn slows the whole game down, and having the focus on attack can break down defences and also make it entertaining.
“It’s always fun to do, come up with new ways to be able to break down these defences.”
The squad assembles on the Gold Coast a week earlier and the Baa-Baas will play the a Flood Relief benefit match against a Classic Wallabies team at Lismore on October 24.
Robbie Deans then takes charge of the side in Europe, where the Barbarians take on New Zealand at Twickenham on November 4 and Tonga at Thomond Park in Limerick on November 10.
