Mike Gibson

Mike Gibson made his debut for the Club in 1963 before he played the first of his 69 tests for Ireland and 12 for the British Isles.

He went on to complete a notable hat-trick of Barbarians' appearances against South Africa (1970), New Zealand (1973) and Australia (1976). In addition he was invited to play against the All Blacks at Cardiff in 1964 but was withdrawn after his coruscating international debut the week earlier as Ireland won at Twickenham for the first time in 16 years.

In all he played nine times for the Club and captained the side against Leicester in 1975.
