Tuohy and Franks join Barbarians to face Czech Republic

ULSTER’S Dan Tuohy leads the Barbarians in Prague as they take on the Czech Republic for the first time on November 8.

The famous invitation side drew a Wembley thriller against South Africa 31-31 in the Killik Cup match at the weekend and go on to face Fiji at the Kingspan Stadium in Belfast on Friday night.

The Baa Baas have been reinforced by the arrival of double World Cup winner Ben Franks (London Irish) and Ireland lock Tuohy, while centre Seta Tamanivalu has left the group having been called up by New Zealand.

There are 10 changes to the starting line-up on duty against the Czech Republic with first Barbarians appearances for captain Tuohy, Lions flanker Kwagga Smith and Cheetahs full back Clayton Blommetjies.

On the eve of the match, the Barbarians trained at the Marketa Stadium in Prague before hosting training sessions at two venues for more than 200 local children.
