Mamuka Gorgodze

Mamuka Gorgodze was born in Tbilisi on 14 July 1984. He played club rugby in Georgia before moving to France in 2005 and joining Montpellier. Having started as a lock he switched to the back-row and eventually specialised as a flanker. He first played for Georgia in 2003, featured in the 2007 and 2011 Rugby World Cup campaigns, and by the end of 2012 had scored 20 tries in 46 tests. He scored a try in the Barbarians' 39-29 victory over England in June 2014.
