To celebrate the Barbarians' 125th anniversary the Penarth club has created a Barbarians Exhibition, which will run from 27 April to 17 May. As well as showing much of Penarth's own illustrious history, it depicts scenes from a rivalry between the two clubs which last for 80 years - Penarth being the spiritual home of the Barbarians when on their legendary Easter Tours to South Wales.
The narrative of the exhibition is largely based on the book “The Spirit of Penarth” by Penarth RFC Secretary and Exhibition curator Chris Thau, which will be on sale during the Exhibition.
