Nine nationalities will be represented in the Barbarians when they run out against Brazil.

Head Coach John Mitchell has named a Barbarians team with nine nationalities represented ahead of their first-ever match against Brazil.

Captained by Canadian skipper Tyler Ardron, the Barbarians include players from Ireland, Scotland, France, Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Argentina.

Rugby World Champions South Africa are also well-represented, with try-makers Lukhanyo Am and Makazole Mapimpi starting at 13 and 11 while legendary prop Tendai "Beast" Mtawarira is named as a finisher.

Fellow front row Rory Best will also make an impact from the bench. Best, who captained the side against Fiji at Twickenham last Saturday, is due to retire from international duty at the conclusion of the Barbarians tour.

USA Eagle Ben Landry brings another nationality into the squad and is only the fourth American to play for the invitational side.

Brazil will be the 24th international side the Barbarians have faced when they take to the pitch at Estadio do Morumbi.
